To accomodate updated internal components, a larger battery housing was required. I was tasked to update the styling while maintaining the brand language.

Intent vs direction
The new ryobi 40v battery follows the proposed design strategy for overall form. Overmold was removed to reduce cost with the color breaks being achieved with labels.
